Dancing since the tender age of 5, Shruthi has long been very fond of Dance and Performance. Currently a company artiste at Bhaskar's Arts Academy and having been formally trained in Indian Classical Dance (Bharathanatyam), her training and interests have since broadened to include other genres such as Classical Ballet and Contemporary at School of the Arts, Singapore. She fiercely believes in the all-rounded, educational potential of the Arts and Dance and hopes to give back to the Arts' landscapes while continuing to learn, create and perform.

Biography
Currently a disciple of Mrs. Ambujah Thiru at Nrityalaya Aesthetics Society, Shruthi has been learning Indian Classical Dance (Bharathanatyam) from the age of 5. Ever since, she has staged close to 100 dance performances at various events, cultural programmes, and corporate events. Shruthi recently staged her arangetram (Bharathanatyam solo repertoire/graduation) in August, 2019 and is now a company dancer with Bhaskar’s Arts Company. Together with learning Bharathanatyam, she has had formal training in other genres such as Classical Ballet and Contemporary at School of the Arts, Singapore, from which she graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2015. The diverse curriculum that SOTA offers has equipped her with further knowledge in other genres as well, such as Flamenco, Chinese Dance, Malay Dance and skills such as Contact Improvisation and Choreography.
Shruthi completed her undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore in June, 2020 while continuing to dedicate time to her passion for Dance and for the Arts. She makes sure to invest time into choreographic projects and training, and hopes to continue growing as an Artiste and Dance student. She believes in the all-rounded educational potential of Dance and the Arts and hopes to give back to Singapore’s Arts and Dance landscapes as a creator and performer.
